Around one thousand 200 migrants, mostly Salvadorans, make up this contingent, where young people, women and minors stand out, who arrived tired after a trip of two to four hours from the city of Puebla. Visibly tired, some with a cold due to the cold temperatures in the area of ​​Rio Frio, but with the intention of reaching Mexico City, the Central Americans were received with hot food and medical services provided by various authorities such as the Iztacalco mayor's office. Denise, a 28-year-old Salvadoran who travels with her two children aged seven and four, said that while the trip was made by bus from Puebla, the children are already very tired from the journey they started almost three weeks ago from San Savior. "The children are not sick, but they are very exhausted from the days when they walk or sleep on the floor. We hope that here in the capital we can rest a bit to continue towards the United States, " she said in an interview. Jair, a 19-year-old Guatemalan, commented that if he found any work option in Mexico City, he could stay and live here. "My destiny was the United States, but as things are now on the border, if there is work here, I stay a few months and then continue to the border," he added. In the Magdalena Mixhuca, in a large white tent, hundreds of Central American migrants began to enter to rest from this trip from the capital of Puebla.
