Trump Fires Back After Roberts Rejects ‘Obama Judges’ Label

In a pair of tweets that began "Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts," Trump escalated a spat with the man likely to cast pivotal votes on the president’s priorities over the next two years. "You do indeed have ‘Obama judges,’ and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country," Trump tweeted. The tweets came hours after Roberts pushed back against Trump’s criticisms of a judge who blocked an White House effort to curb asylum claims, as well as the appeals court that will hear the administration’s appeal.
