Port Authority Asks Everyone To Vote On 'OCD Nightmare' Holland Tunnel Holiday Decorations

This week, a NJ man started a petition asking the Port Authority to fix the decorations on the Jersey-side of the Holland Tunnel tolls, because—as you can see above—it looks like a real funky monkey. The tree is over the letter N in the word "Holland" instead of the letter A, which seems like a more natural fit, and the wreath is over the letter U in "Tunnel," making it look like "TONNEL." While Cory Windelspecht's argument that it was an "OCD nightmare" for commuters didn't seem wreath-diculous to us, the Port Authority wasn't totally convinced. Instead, they've now created their own online poll asking commuters to vote on four possible mockups for the display. [ more › ]
