The Wall Street Journal: Conservative activist linked to Russian agent indicted in alleged investment scam

A conservative political activist caught up in an investigation into Russian influence in Washington was charged in a separate federal indictment unsealed Wednesday in South Dakota accusing him of misleading investors in his health-care and real-estate ventures.

When Representative Ilhan Omar recently complained about “the political influence in this country that says it is okay to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” many noted accurately that she had deployed a trope—dual loyalty—that had been used against Jews for years.
