
In a not-so-surprising twist to an already annoying snow day commute, the MTA says a "temporary Con Ed power failure" between Roosevelt Avenue and 71st Avenue in Queens caused "extensive delays" along the E, F, M, and R lines this morning. It's unclear what caused the power failure, but it knocked out service along multiple subway lines around 6:45 a.m. An MTA spokesperson said the power was out for about an hour. [
