The biggest night in Hollywood is finally here! The 92nd Academy Awards is on in full swing with A-listers bringing their fashion A-game to the glamorous red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The one night that celebrates and recognizes the best works in the movie business is all set to unfold with everyone vying to walk away with the grand prize – an Oscar. ‘Joker’ is currently leading the way with 11 nominations, while war-drama ‘1917’ follows closely behind, tied with 'The Irishman' and 'Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood' with ten nods. In the acting categories, Joaquin Phoenix, Brad Pitt, Renee Zellweger and Laura Dern, who have been a favourite all along including at the recent Golden Globes and BAFTAs, are hoping for a clean sweep this awards season.

But this accusation has a broader history in the United States, having been used against several religious minorities—including Muslims like Omar.
